I've had a pretty wonderful day...We were listening to Brahms in Music History class, and something about listening to Brahms makes me always just want to sigh, it's so gorgeous! I can't wait till the day when I play his music!
I also taught piano today, I have one student, I actually quite admire her she's 79 years old and just wants to learn how to play piano, she's always wanted to and now shes finally taking the time to do it... around her house she has all of these pictures her husband, kids, grandkids and even great grandkids, I hope I live old enough to see that many generations. I just love old people, they're so cute, and I feel like I can always learn from them. So here's to the elderly and of course BRAHMS!

Chai Tea Lattes

So yesterday was all about changing expectations I had of people...This guy who I thought was a lazy slacker is actually amazing at recorder! of all the random instruments, it was insane, I was watching him play and could barely believe it, I had to keep telling myself that it was real and what I was seeing was actually happening, I wasn't just imagining...
And I realized I haven't even talked about chai tea lattes, I made my own today and they were quite good, just a chai tea bag and vanilla soy milk! yummy..
Oh and another thing I want to start reading poetry.. I've always wanted to be ann intellectual a person who when they're older the house is head to toe book shelves sagging with books...I just watched Bright Star a bitter sweet love story about John Keats and Fanny Braun... The poetry of Keats is stunning, I dont even know how people can come up with such elegant phrases I can barely write an eloquent essay let alone poetry to inspire other people. Anways so I want to be inspired in which case I'm going to head to the nearest library and see what I can find out about Keats!
